ZTF Update - A New Chapter Begins
Change has always been part of the creative process.
For years, Zeekthefreak has been more than just a name. It has represented countless projects, experiments, performances, collaborations, and a journey of constant evolution. Every step, every success, every setback has shaped who I am today.
But every journey reaches a point where looking forward becomes more important than looking back.
As I continue to grow creatively and personally, I've decided it's time to leave the past where it belongs and embrace a new direction. This isn't about erasing what came before—it will always be part of my story—but about creating space for what's next.
From the beginning of 2027, Zeekthefreak will officially become ZTF.
Along with the new name comes a new identity, a renewed vision, a new home on the web.
This website marks the beginning of that transition. Over the coming months, content will gradually move away from zeekthefreak.com, and by 2027, the project will live exclusively at:
The shorter name reflects a broader creative direction. It's simpler, more versatile, and leaves room for the project to evolve without being defined by its past. While the name is changing, the passion for creating, experimenting, and pushing boundaries remains exactly the same.
You'll continue to find music, live performances, visual projects, collaborations, and whatever unexpected ideas emerge next—but presented through a fresh identity that better represents where I'm headed.
To everyone who has followed this journey under the Zeekthefreak name: thank you. Your support, encouragement, and belief have made every chapter worthwhile.
The past built the foundation.
Now it's time to build the future.
Welcome to ZTF.

Album Update - Name Change
There has been an important creative update regarding the forthcoming ZTF album, scheduled for release in the new year. Originally conceived under the title “D.I.D.”, the project will now be released as “Disconnected Connections.”
This new title more fully reflects the album’s thematic direction—an exploration of fragmentation, identity, distance, and the complex ways in which people relate to one another in an increasingly disconnected world.
While the album title has evolved, the track “D.I.D.” remains a key part of the project and will be featured on the final tracklist. It is also currently being considered for release as a standalone single, offering listeners an early entry point into the album’s sound and narrative.
“Disconnected Connections” represents a refined vision of the project, both sonically and conceptually. The change in title signals a broader and more cohesive artistic statement, capturing the emotional depth and layered storytelling that define this release.
More details, including release dates and additional singles, will be announced soon.

The Hangman's Noose - Album update
This song isn’t about a rope.
It’s about the quiet battles we fight with ourselves — the thoughts that tighten slowly, almost unnoticed, until it feels like something is pulling you down.
Written in a slow 3/4 pulse, inspired by the smoky melancholy of old European chanson and accordion-driven cabaret, the track drifts between struggle and surrender.
At the end, the accordion takes over for a long fading solo — two minutes where the music hangs in the air, suspended between tension and release.
Sometimes the hardest fight is the one inside your own mind.

A new vision
There comes a point when excess becomes noise.
The previous structure carried too many rooms, too many explanations, too many echoes.
The signal weakened.
This revision is not cosmetic.
It is deliberate.
Five spaces.
Signal.
The Voice.
Works.
Transmission.
Correspondence.
Nothing essential has been removed.
Only what distracted.
Clarity is not reduction.
It is precision.
The signal sharpens.

The Divided Voice
There are moments when the self feels singular.
And others when it fractures quietly beneath expectation.
D.I.D. is not an attempt to dramatise identity.
It is an examination of it.
We are rarely as whole as we present ourselves to be.
We adapt. We divide. We perform.
The studio becomes a space where those divisions speak without interruption.
The work continues.

Time and transmission
Thirty years ago, the name first surfaced.
It was not built for longevity.
It was built from necessity.
Rooms have changed.
Technology has changed.
The world has shifted its noise.
What has remained is the impulse to translate what sits beneath it.
ZEEKtheFREAK was never designed to be a fixed identity.
It became a vessel — adapting, dividing, refining.
Time does not preserve everything.
It removes what is unnecessary.
What remains is voice.
The transmission continues.
